"Bohai or Bust" is an annual charity biking event hosted by The Schoolhouse at Mutianyu to introduce the beautiful Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, biking routes around Bohai Township and raise money for the elderly of Bohai Township. All proceeds will be given to the Elderly of Bohai Township, a county nestled against the Mutianyu Great Wall. Presentation will occur in October 2012 on Chong Yang Jie (Elder's Day), a traditional Chinese holiday which celebrates the elderly.
The date of the Third "Bohai or Bust" event is Saturday April 14, 2012. We are currently reaching out to potential sponsors who would like to donate an auction prize valued over Rmb 500 or a lucky draw prize valued under Rmb 500. There will also be Maps for each route (10km, 25km, 50km, 70km) and the event schedule will be available for download in early February. |
